The country store was built in 1808 and was completely restored in 2005. This building was used as the town’s first grocery store and now serves the community as a convenience store/sandwich shop. It’s location on a State Route halfway between 2 small cities, plus the nearby campgrounds and recreational lakes will guarantee business far beyond what the local community generates. The friendly and folksy atmosphere makes it a very special gathering place for locals and newcomers alike!  On Sunday evening, the local musicians make bluegrass music and this type activity is commonplace in this quaint, authentic country store.
